a less than purrfect beginning

In December 2025, a young man spotted a tiny white ball of fur on the side of the road. Without hesitation, he scooped up the kitten and brought her to his local crazy cat lady… my grandmother!

At just two weeks old, this little kitten was fighting for her life. She was severely dehydrated, starving, and suffering from an upper respiratory infection that had both of her eyes completely matted shut. Unsure if she would even survive the night, my grandmother rushed her to the vet.

​

But this tiny ball of fluff had other plans. She was a fighter, and against the odds, she pulled through!

​

Around this time, my grandmother knew I had been missing a furry companion. A year earlier, I had said goodbye to Lulu, my childhood cat of 14 years.

​

The moment I met Coconut, I fell in love. Little did I know, this innocent-looking kitten would turn out to be about 100 times more mischievous than Lulu! From causing chaos to getting into absolutely everything, Coco has kept me on my toes ever since.

​

Because of Coco's difficult start, I've always been extra mindful of what I feed her and the products I bring into her life. I've spent countless hours researching, testing, and figuring out what's actually worth it.

​

And that's exactly why I created CocoKitty! A little corner of the internet where I can share our favorite finds, lessons learned, and life with one very spoiled, very loved, and slightly chaotic kitty.
